WHAT IS CHILD CARE SUBSIDY
Child care subsidy is a government financial support program that helps eligible families reduce the cost of licensed child care. Subsidy amounts are based on factors such as household income, the type of program your child attends, and hours of care required.
In Alberta, subsidies are available for children attending licensed care outside of regular school hours. Currently, subsidy programs continue to support families whose children attend licensed facility-based child care program.
